Default Brady's performance and the fumblitis

I was wondering if Brady's errant throws and all the fumbles might be related to the ball preparation technique used this year. Remember a rule change with Brady-Manning etc was for visiting teams to bring their own footballs to away games. Maybe Brady's technique for preparing the football is impacting his grip (lots of wayward passes) and our receivers ability to hold onto to it after the catch. Just a thought...

Almost certainly not. We weren't allowed to touch the balls last year, to think that we are now doing something to them to make them worse is beyond a stretch of the imagination.

The most plausible explanation, actually, was posted by Michigan Dave, who thought it was the shiny finish off the new synthetic grass rubbing off on the footballs that was causing Brady's bad throws at home and all the fumbling. Course, its not like they weren't passing poorly and turning the ball over away or at home previous to the new field; see the Indianapolis game...
