Default More awesome T.C. stuff from PFW

Official Patriots Football Weekly Blog

Great details from Andy on practice in the bubble today, and a good look at Murrell and the battle for the OLB spot from Paul.

I've seen Andy in person. His head-size is overrated. (Insert own "That's what she said" joke here.)

Not to mention Gronk and Moss going off, Bodden being back, Butler holding too much.

I don't feel too good about that part. It seems to be something that's becoming more frequent with him.

Maybe he's feeling pressure from McCourty's performance.

If he wasn't before, then he definitely should be now. McCourty has played very well. He's made mistakes too, but they don't seem to be as frequent as Butler. It's really looking like members on this board who are saying it may actually be Butler sliding to the slot may be right. I still think Butler will start the season, but I won't be surprised if it's McCourty starting by the middle of the season.

It was rather frequent with him last season as well. He was a flag magnet it seemed. I think he's got the raw ability, but his propensity to draw PI calls is disturbing to say the least, especially considering we're guaranteed to face the Colts every season.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

I think you're right. The one in the Colts game was just ridiculous, though. He didn't deserve that one (neither did the team for that matter).

PFW has consistently had the best coverage of any outlet all through camp, IMO.
