Great teams can adjust the little things to work games in their favor---while the dolts do their thing no matter what's going on. Kind of reminds me of a line from "Remember the Titans" where Denzel says something like " I only run 5 offensive plays: just like novicaine, give it time and it will work"

On a side note i only saw the first half and the refs were completely ballwashing the dolts again. A couple obvious ones were: the "non-td" to harrison; it wasn't close but the ref immediatly put his hands up signaling a TD and nodding his head. Then the personal foul for hitting PM low. the dolts O-lineman pulled the DE into him but they give the dolts 15yards to continue the drive.

We've all seen this story before though and we know how the ending goes!

The replay review corrected the bad TD call. The low blow on Peyton is the Palmer rule. Like it or hate it, it's going to be called a lot from now on. They totally blew the roughing call when they tried to rip Peyton's head off. And if they were ball washing the Colts, I think that they would have been calling the holding calls against the Skins when they were constantly tackling Freeney. They may have call it once if they called it at all.

Bingo. I think that a lot of fans on this board let their hatred of the Colts really effect their posting.

So true. This board has been told that Rob Morris who has never signed with another team or played for another team was a free agent loss of the Colts.

And this is news to anyone?

Go ahead Peyton, give us some more plays out of the playbook to prepare for in a couple of weeks.

Well just to play devil's advocate but...

A) The point chart tells you if you are up 19, it's better to try for the 2 point conversion to be up by 3 td's than to kick an extra point that won't help you.

B) The Colt's running attack is terrible. Perhaps the passing game is the only way they have to keep the first downs coming to eat up the clock. Not to mention with receivers like Harrison and Wayne why wouldn't you go to the air?

C) This will have no effect in the postseason as the Colts will find out that a one dimensional offense will get eaten up by playoff caliber defenses.

6-0 (After WAS Victory)

2005: ypc 3.7 (avg)

2005: ypg 101.5 (avg)
2006: ypg 111.3 (avg)

2005: 25.0 carries per game (avg)
2006: 27.0 carries per game (avg)

Please back up your claim that the running attack is terrible.

Good point. Your opponents have been horrible. If you run 'well' against Denver then I'll take it back.

According to NFL.com the Colts have the 18th best rush offense in the league in terms of total yardage. Not as bad as I thought. My perception must have been colored by the earlier games in the season when Addai was sputtering.

http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NF...1=7&_1:col_1=5

Team G Att Att/G Yds Avg Yds/G TDs FDs 20+
Indianapolis 6 173 28.8 667 3.9 111.2 7 44 1

3.9 YPC is hardly close to your claimed numbers of 4.7 ypc though.

When I do my numbers, I only include Rhodes and Addai. Not Manning or trickery plays. When I say 4.7 I mean 4.07. I've fixed to clarrify.

2005: ypc 3.70 (avg)
2006: ypc 4.07 (avg)

2005: ypg 101.5 (avg)
2006: ypg 111.3 (avg)

2005: 25.0 carries per game (avg)
2006: 27.0 carries per game (avg)
