as far as negotiating a contract with Deion Branch... I think it might...but we shall see..

Not only the Pats but the rest of the NFL as well since agents will use his salary with others to come up with a figure for their client.

i dont think it hurts us that much..i mean he was a pro bowler and led league in yards or catches few years ago while Branch hasnt gotten over 1000 yards and he knows Patriots wont pay him that money yet.

Yup.

I think we've discussed this some already - but I'm open to any suggestions that Branch's agent DOESN'T argue that his new contract should be around that level.
