Had to go high and mid round tender on these two since they were 5th and 6th rounders but were much ballyhooed starters who got a lot on press in the defensive turnaround this year and would be highly sought after in FA.

So that adds another $3.6M to the $6.9M the Colts were over this AM. If there is not a new CBA by Sunday night Polian is going to have some serious cuts to make. He's kinda marching to his own drummer right now like he knows something everyone else doesn't (or at least he thinks he does) - guess that's why some Colts fans call him Napolian.

Do those offers count against the caps since they are not signed contracts yet?

Yes. As soon as a RFA tender is made, it counts against the cap.
