Default Seau in the Colts game

I think with the big lead dwindling down on sunday and the defense getting lit up I would have liked to have seen a little leadership on the field which was sorely lacking in the 4th quarter.

Seau has been not much more than a cheerleader on the sidelines thus far,I know he says he is good for 6 games but I think the team could have used him for a little guidance in a tough situation that Seau has been in many times before.

I think the team signed him because he is in game shape and not there for locker room rah-rahs,so I wonder since he was active of why he did not get at least a play or two in sometime during the second half?

I was one of those guys in here that was not crazy about seeing the old man return but since he is using an active roster spot, shouldn't he be used a little in these big games coming up and keep those LBs fresh?

Seau still needs to get into the thick of things...

anyways, he would have been too slow for the colt game

I don't think he will be on the field because of his speed,he has little of that anymore...its experience in important game situations I think is as the main reason why he is here and with so many young guys in this defense trying to figure out what Peyton is going to do to them I think Seau would have been a good idea for at least a few plays in those last 3 successful drives by the Colts offense.

BB and Pees is running the defense, not me but still think Seau could have been used somewhere in that decisive 4th quarter where guys simply were not pulling thier weight and were befuddled by another amazing Manning comeback.

Suspect he will get a few more snaps this week against the Jets...

I agree I wouldve liked to have seen some leadership on Defense.

Mayo and Bodden were doing a lot of taunting. Actually the first time Ive seen Mayo taunting and trash talking like he was. There was no discipline. I started getting a bad feeling when Mayo got a nice hit on Manning and the Defense was acting like the game was over right then and there. Colts came back to score on that same drive (i believe this was right before halftime) to keep themselves in the ball game.

On NFL networks sound bites from this past week you even hear Randy Moss on the bench encouraging Bodden and Mayo to get more serious.
