Arrow The Patriots' next 4 games

There is no doubt that the next four games are going to be the most hyped games of the year. So,lets take a look at them as to their importance to the Patriots season.

Colts- tomorrows game with the Colts is important in that the Colts are an AFC team. Home field advantage in the playoffs might be on the line but I doubt it. Don't forget we did win 2 of the 3 SB's playing the AFCCG away. Having said all that, I think the Patriots win it and it should be a great game.

Jets- Certainly more important than the Colts game and I consider it a must win game regardless of beating the Colts. They beat us in the first game and we can't afford to lose 2 to them.

Saints- Assuming that we beat the Colts and the Jets, the Saints game will be pure entertainment. They still might be unbeaten and so we would want to spoil that for them and get a W, but that's all the importance I put on that game.

Fins- 2nd in importance only to the Jets game. If we beat the Jets and Colts, a win over the Fins would all but wrap up the playoffs unless something totally weird happens over the rest of the season.

OK, tell me how I'm wrong.

Every game is just as important as the next. The only time I'd put anything more into it is if it is actually a must win (elimination) game. Ok, did I drink too much Belichick cool-aid? I just can't believe some people are just considering the game at NO just for "entertainment". I want to win that game just as much as any other. I could care less about who the opponent is nor their record, I care about the W.

Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

I don't get this New Orleans game "just for entertainment"....if they lose..it's an L!! This team already has 2...and if they can win all 4, it puts them in a really strong position. Yes, division games are a bit MORE important..but an L is an L...and if they lose to New Orleans..it's one game back from the other teams that win.

OK, tell me how the Saints game is as important as the Jets, Fins , and Colts games. Other than being another W, I don't view it that way.

Every win matters. We could win every game but the Saints, but if the Colts only lose 2 games, it won't matter if we beat them or the jets, etc. Anyways, our focus really shouldn't be on the Colts (in terms of getting a bye), it should be on the Broncos/Bengals/Steelers. All that matters is we win more games than those two teams. Anyways, I'm certainly not worried about the division. We have a 2 game lead over the Jets and I just don't think they (or the Dolphins) are good enough to win the division.

Patsnutme are you fing stupid? If the pats win against the colts, theres a very good chance that the colts would loose another one between the ravens and texans. This would give em the same amount of loss as the pats (assuming they keep winning). This would move the pats into atleast second place b/c they would have tie breaker over the colts. The saints gm is really important b/c if they loose that would give em three losses, where as if they win...theres a good chance they will move up in the afc standings b/c like i said colts have a L b/w the ravens and texans

Don't see how we can bea the coltsies. colitis-ies.

Have you seen how quick manning is?

Key is, obviously, to get pressure on manning, whilst not giving up the pass.

My idea, crazy though it may be, is to play kind of a 3-2-6 and have a cb or safety blitz him all the time.

somehow they need to get pressure-itis on him.
