This is the same type of loss, ala Caroll and Bledsoe in the late 90's
Outcoached, out played, did not make the plays when it counted... That is the most scariest part of this loss.. This team is too good to lose like this.. Brady is too good to have games like this.. Belichick is too good of a coach , but he is getting outcoached in second half of games too many times latley... I think as fans we are frustrated by this, and that is why we may be in for a long frutstrating season... Not to have a great qb like brady not in theplayoffs again , well that is another year wasted with Moss.. But this loss reminds me of those frustrating years...

Oh yeah that is right, we said that against Miami last year, and San diego last year..
We are better than that Denver team... And we pulled a Bledsoe/ Caroll..
One game means alot my friend I hope you say that to me in dec when we are 10-6 and say Cincy or Pitt is 11-5... Think of present not future that is what the problem is , take advanatge of Brady, Take advatage of Moss... Belichick take advantage of himself since he only may have a few great coaching years left.. Think of the present..

Which Pete Caroll seemed to do alot of , or just was plain outcoached in alot of them, Parcells , Reeves, Johnson , marv levy , not to many rookie coaches, but Belichick is having some issuies there this year so far..

It's not just one loss. Losing to an AFC team can come back to bite you in the ass! Remember losing to the Jets last year? Or the Colts? How about the Chargers, Steelers and Dolphins? Those loses add up and will cost the Pats a trip to the playoffs like it did in '08.
As of right now, two out of their two loses are AFC opponents. That's not good.

Enough - Sean, you know I love you buddy but your negativity tonight is killing me. I understand being frustrated after a loss, but you're taking it to another level.
The combined record of the teams the've lost to is 8-1. They lost to a team with the NFL's 4th ranked defense - and lost to a Broncos team that is second in the league defensively.
In other words - these aren't bad teams, and this is also a team that is still in transition both offensively and defensively. Yet they've still been in each of the two games they've lost right up until the end. Granted it's frustrated to lose - but to act like the sky is falling in week 5 is a bit much. You're better than that.
Did they have their chances to win today? Absolutely. But as I said in another thread they didn't lose to the Browns or Raiders today. This is a good football team that you're going to see in January.
It's O.K. to disagree with me, however, please do me a favor and re-evaluate each thread you start, and pretend that those in the media are reading what you write. You're a smart guy, and I think some of those threads may make you re-think what you post. Because you've gone a bit over the edge tonight with some of your them, and the board will be full of them in the coming days so if you can help us maintain an environment of insightful and analytical discussion that would be most helpful.
