Maybe Brady will get back to Brady but the second half is killing us and no adjustments are being made has to make one wonder.
The defense is fine and will only get better.
Who da thought? We would be worried about our offense scoring points?

It's obvious they have work todo, but as long as they build off what they've been doing and don't get worse I wouldn't be worried. Next week is going to be tough Tenn has played every team hard and has had some tough losses every game this year. I really hope they win tonight.

The playcalling on both sides of the ball has me scratching my head.
I don't understand why our CBs are told to play off so far. It never works, ever. It's like a constant prevent defense so instead of giving up one 50 yard play we give up 10 5 yard plays.
It all comes down to missed opportunities. The defense had some problems but they weren't awful and I don't think it's the players fault. Was anybody else reminded of Plaxico Burress single coverage when Marshall got his touchdown?
Tom Brady holds most of the blame for the loss IMO but I'm not about to say he's lost it. 5 weeks into the season is hardly enough time for him to regain his incredible ability. It was a disappointing loss for a game that I thought was very winnable
Brady overthrew Moss badly on the wide open bomb and too high on a needed 2nd half pass. He looked bad on those. But the offense just looks terribly inconsistent and has no creativity. The play calling is astonishingly predictable.
Another thing is there may not be the talent we thought on offense. With no Galloway, we have Same Aiken and Edelman as the 3rd and 4th receivers. That's damn poor work by the front office.
Bottom line, great offenses don't get shut out in the second half by anybody and great defenses don't give up 98 yard scoring drives to Kyle Orton.
Right now, the Pats are above average on both sides of the ball, but nothing more.
ANSWER 1
anyone who understands how serious Brady's injury was and how difficult it is for a quarterback to recover.
ANSWER 2
anyone who watched Peyton Manning play last year, going 3-4 and then 9-0
He was aweful early.
Agreed. I'd also add that Manning's injury was way less severe, involving 4 to 6 weeks of rehab. Brady's was 6 to 9 months. So he's going to struggle, and in fact may take longer than Manning did. We don't know.
What we do know is that it's pretty unreasonable to expect Tom Brady to be 100% after only 5 games.
It's a long season. We've faced 4 really good teams and 1 bad team. Don't be depressed about 3-2. It could be 4-1, maybe even 5-0, but it could be 1-4 too.
We have Tennessee and TB coming up, 2 teams we should beat. Do that and we are 5-2 going into the bye, which would be great IMO all things considered. The rebuilt defense which was thought to be our achilles heel has not allowed more than 17 points in regulation and just got one of its best players back. They'll only get better. Most importantly, Brady will only get better.
its hard to compare brady and manning's injury. right now in my personal opinion, brady is just a player who hasnt played for 1 full yr and that too a QB. injury or no injury its a lot to get back from. iam not even sure even brady realizes it with his complaining of dropped passes.
And our WR outside of moss and a half fit welker are nothing to scare anyone. look at the good teams right now. colts with garson andco, giants with nicks and steve smith.
the FO has missed out on drafting WR's for a while.i sure hope tate and nunn can be the answers. aiken, galloway dont scare anyone.and above all brady starts to distribute the balllike before instead of just looking for welker all the time.
You know what's freakin depressing, checking Cincinatti's freakin box score and seeing Rey Maualuga lighting up the freakin stat sheet again with 8 tackles (6 solo) and 2 of them for losses.
We passed twice on this guy, STUPIDLY, and settled for guys like Ron Brace and Patrick Chung............
For a team desperate for a Maualuga, Laurinaitis or a Clay Matthews, how the freak did BB do this ? Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!
How many passes do we give BB before we can actually start to criticize his choices of coordinators, his drafts and his FA decisions and most recently some of these freakin trades (Burgess for a 3 and a 5), I mean c'mon. I'm done being handed the "BB can do no wrong koolaid", the guy is not above criticism.
