Default "Fred Thomas killed the Pats last year" says Brady...

Wow You read that correctly...Mr. Brady dosn't even know Fred Jackson's name

As a guy who went from division III to indoor league 2 football (living in his grandma's basement) to NFL Europe to the Practice squad it's hard not pull for Fred

http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post...do-you-name-it

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The soundtrack for this blog item, Destiny Child's "Say My Name," should be playing in the back of your brain as you read on.

If you ain't runnin' game

Fred Jackson believes the Bills can make a "statement" against the Patriots on Monday night.

Say my name, say my name ...

Fred Jackson is entering his third NFL season, but a household name he's not.

Not even those scouting him, including a team that was trampled by him, know who this guy is.

Jackson is the Buffalo Bills' backup running back, but the underrated and versatile reserve will move to the forefront for the first three weeks of the season, while Pro Bowler Marshawn Lynch serves a suspension.

By the end of the month, fans outside of Western New York should know his name. Heading into Monday night's opener against the New England Patriots, though, he's practically anonymous.

"Thomas, the running back, had a great game against us last year to end the year," Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said Wednesday on a conference call with Bills reporters.

We have a visiting forum and an NFL forum. This sort of post will end up there, so you might want to cut out the middle man in the future.

And forgetting a name is something that happens, and it's a forgivable offense. Just don't call out the wrong name in bed.

Since the title is quoted as a Brady comment, don't you think you should correct it to reflect what he actually said?

On a different note, are you offended that Tom Brady paid your RB a subtle compliment by hanging Thurmans surname on him?

How is this not relevant to Tom Brady?

Brady plays for the Pats right?

Is this a Pats forum?

I'm confused

Good luck in the game Monday

Even though the Pats will prob. win here's to an injury free game

It's really not surprising because most NFL players don't know or butcher opposing players names. In fact, it's pretty common to see them only acknowledge players by number. You'd think that players would make an effort to know who their up against.

I wager Brady has a pretty good idea of the Bills defensive players names and history.

Now, when he needs to start playing NT I will worry about him needing to know the backup RB.
