I don't think he would have been able to windmill his arm the way he was on the sideline with a torn rotator cuff, would he?

He also threw the ball around a bit on the sidelines after.

Right. He was unlikely to play next week anyway. When was the last time he played in week 4 of the pre-season?

Give the other qb's the reps this week, let the roster shake out, and let the man begin preparing for Buffalo!
