Agreed. "Combined individual scores" doesn't specify how they were combined (sum and average).

Combined is not the same as summed. Summing is only one way of combining scores of individuals. Another way is to combine scores is by taking their average, which I'm sure what was done here without knowing more information.

Interesting info about the symposium itself too, and how seriously the NFL takes the attendance, though I kind of agree with Troy Smith about Goodell even though it probably wasn't the wisest thing to say
