Our rivalry with the Pats goes back, not so much with the Titans. The Titans thing is new for us in a way, we always owned them or at least had the edge. The Pats and Colts have a lot of emotion involved. Even if we won Monday night we still needed the Titans to lose more games to give us a shot at the division. Now we are officially in the WC hunt and are desperate for a win.

This game means more now that we lost to the Titans. In order to gain some pride this season and get some momemtum going a win over the hated Patriots would spark a lot I feel.

Expect all our guys to play too Sunday. They are on a short week and might rest some but this game is HUGE. Wayne played Sunday even after getting dinged up a little. Marlin Jackson has been nursing an injury for weeks. Sanders was expected to return for this game for weeks. Hayden will likely play but limited and get worked in.

You mentioned the Chargers had the Pats game circled for months. I doubt we had the Titans game circled for months (Titans likely had us circled though, they pretty much admitted it) but the Colts/Pats game is always in the back of minds I am sure, Brady or no Brady and average record or not.

We have a lot of young guys but we also have some strong veterans as well. A few vets on defense can help the young guys. (Sanders, Freeney, Brackett) On our o line Saturday keeps them in check hopefully. And Diem.

I expect both the Colts and Pats to be excited and pumped up for this game, as they are every season.

Needless to say Colts fans are feeling anxious, this game is crazy important to us in many ways. We don't know what to expect completely and neither do you. We can only assume. We assume for the best for our teams. I am cautiously optimistic but won't be suprised if the season falls apart. I don't know what to expect. Win or lose they are my team.

Like I said I expect both the Colts and Pats to play very hard on Sunday. I don't know who will win or what Colts team will show up. I hope its the team who we saw against Baltimore.

I don't know what to expect from the Colts usually quarter to quarter let alone game to game.

Like Peyton said today, we will see how the team responds to the most adversity they have had in quite some time. And the true character will come through soon enough as well. He said he believes they got it, he has to.

It's a wait and see situation in how the Colts respond the rest of the year. Nobody knows. In a way it's kind of exciting for me. Pats responded quite well to the pain of losing Brady and thats admirable.

The young guys are precisely why I'd bet against it, I can see some old vet doing his John Belushi from Animal House routine and leading them out the door. The kids are resilient, I'm expecting a dog fight.

IMO, this game will hinge on "who's going to be our RB? " and "how much has the Colts O-line recovered?" If Jordan is added to the mix and the Pats D-line can execute like they did last wk, I like our chances.

History has shown that teams are more likely to come out flat after a short week and a big game than on fire, but anything is possible. I've been right on the Colts so far this year.

Typically, seasoned veterans are better suited to overcome adversity and keep fighting. Younger players crack under pressure. That is why an experienced veteran Patriots team has been able to overcome things like the Terry Glenn saga, Spygate, losing Lawyer Milloy five days before the regualar season, etc. Do you really think the Pats would have been able to over come those things without veterans like Bruschi, Harrison, Brady, Law, Seymour, etc.?

Wait. I thought the media has been saying the Colts are aging and getting old. I sure wish the Colts had experienced veteran players despite all the young guys.

Manning, Saturday, Diem, Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Freeney, Mathis, Brackett, Sanders, Vinatieri etc.

If so, we should be in good shape.

Let's face it buddy, this year is any given Sunday at it's finest. You can't predict a thing. Admit it. You cannot predict the rest of the year or the playoffs. Neither can I, nor do I care to. I hate predictions. I take it one week at a time.

The Colts are the second youngest team in football. They have a lot of youth especially on the defensive side of the ball.

So the complete collapse of the Colts in the second half against the Titans didn't actually happen on Monday night because of Manning's veteran leadership? The Titans didn't really score 24 unanswered points in the second half? Manning and his offense didn't have a three possession stretch where they lost the ball on downs twice and the other end on an interception? The Tians didn't win the time of possession battle 34:14 to 25:46?

I do have to agree that it is absurd to think that a "veteran" team like the Colts would ever collapse in front of a national audience especially since they collapsed in front a national audience the week before. Did anyone actually watch Monday night's game?
