"He’s the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. He goes from being a rookie that nobody is expecting anything from, to taking over with people saying he can’t do it, to winning three Super Bowls....It should already be obvious he’s the greatest quarterback to ever have played. "

joey porter is one stupid a------ you know he did not go to class when he was in college, you just know he didn't. if joey porter was not physically gifted he would be homeless or in prison.

I wonder if Porter realizes he has become almost as big of an NFL joke as FredEx was? Porter needs to realize that stupid, arrogant comments are only forgiven if you actually have the talent to produce. When you and your team sucks, you are only bringing the wrong kind of attention on yourself and your teammates. I am guessing he isn't a popular guy in the lockerroom. Parcells has already shown public disdain for the guy and the coaching staff was this close to cutting him.

I think this is going to be Porter's last year in the NFL. No one wants a loudmouth who can't produce in their lockerroom. I wonder if he can get a media gig. ESPN seems to like former players on their crew who will say stupid and edgy things (Michael Irvin for example), but usually frown on loose cannons (Bryan Cox was dumped pretty quickly).

Now see... this is how the Pats get their motivation on. They don't have to go looking for anything to motivate them. All they have to do is watch tape. practice, study the intel, and in a day or so, some opposition player, or some numbnutz media hack will step up to the mic and give them all the motivating power they need.

You can't make this stuff up, you know? It's just so bloody easy these days for the Patriots.

Joey Porter is like all the others, the gift that keeps on giving.

i hope he gets cut after the dolphins lose sunday and never gets a job in the nfl again. espn would be low enough to hire him, but hopefully he does something to **** that up also.

Wow, his team is 0-2 and he's saying beating a 2-0 team won't be hard? Especially when one of those wins was a rather easy win over a team that beat Miami on their home field. What a moron.

Wouldn't it be outstanding if Sporano deactivates him for the game for running off his mouth? It's not like the Dolphins will miss him anyway.

I am shocked they kept him this season especially since he was reportedly a distraction during training camp.
