Default Leon the Leprechaun's luck runs out?

Someone said that the Jets tried to use Leon like Reggie Bush and he wasn't up to the task.

That seemed like an interesting point because he did have some great runs on us early. He was picking through our defense and stealing their lunch money. It was infuriating.

Then something changed. The D stopped overpursuing and let the leprechaun run to them. There were a number of runs where he tried to make something happen by picking his way around ... only to end up being slowly corralled for little to no gain.

That had to be an adjustment by the D and not just a case of a few lucky runs early and then his luck running out.

Our D took a few plays, but got VERY patient and that was really irritating the Jets. Who's dissing the vets now?
