New England Patriots:

One of the bigger stories this offseason was the potential of free agent receiver DeAndre Hopkins landing with the Patriots, which could have added a clear number-one target to an already fairly talented group.
Unfortunately, it appears that won’t be happening.

I look for Bill O’Brien to scheme up pass plays to take advantage of Strong’s speed, where he’s a mismatch when isolated on a linebacker

Patriots’ cornerback Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport for attempting to bring two loaded firearms onto an aircraft in his carry-on baggage.

He was asked about the effect the lost practices had on the players. Belichick grinned and said, “They got a long weekend.”

Bill Belichick was also fined $50,000 in addition to losing the two sessions. One of the sessions was on Thursday

Douglas is an intriguing prospect. His explosiveness with the ball in his hands will be an interesting aspect to watch.

“It’s a revenge game for me, man,” Jackson said. “I’m excited to go back and pick Mac Jones off … they should’ve never let me go.” 

“I think he (Gesicki), could end up being the one pass-catcher in their offense that defenses actually have to gameplan for.”

Boutte is one of the more intriguing guys in the Patriots’ draft, I can’t wait to see if he can recapture his high level of play.

“So there’s a bit of different flavor between guys like Zay and some of the bigger, longer guys. And we’ve worked hard to get eyes on these”

Heading into the 2023 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots have a fair amount of talent at the receiver position, but they’re still in need of an impact wideout to complement their current group of skill players on offense.

Very few players were capable of as much as Dont’a, who could win from multiple positions with power, athleticism, and his mind.
