Here are some thoughts following the New England Patriots’ cutdowns, along with a look back at my roster projections.

Following the club paring down its roster in order to get down to the 53-man roster limit, we now know who the New England Patriots signed to their practice squad after many of them were brought back on Wednesday.

While many people felt like Bailey Zappe would garner some interest as he passed through the waiver wire, it sounds like there was indeed some competition for the second-year quarterback prior to him coming back to the Patriots.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the young quarterback successfully cleared waivers, and the New England Patriots have since brought him back to the practice squad.
