If you had asked me two weeks ago if the Patriots should apply the Franchise Tag to JC Jackson I would have said a resounding yes. However, over the past two weeks, I have looked at the possibility that Jackson won’t be tagged.

Now that the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl are in the books, it’s time for my February Mock Draft.
Let’s wrap up the Senior Bowl with the 10 players I think helped themselves the most in Mobile.
Reports have been coming in all week from various sources on whom the experts have been impressed with at the Senior Bowl.
Several online sources have been used to provide these thumbnail reports from the practices. For the most part, I will highlight the players that have had positive results. Some will be mentioned more than once as they impressed on both the 1st two days of practice and have been mentioned by multiple sources.
The week before the Super Bowl we have two college football All-Star games. The East/West Shrine Game will be played on Thursday Night at 8 and the Senior Bowl will be held on Saturday at 12:30. Both games will be broadcast on the NFL network.
With the Patriots out of the playoffs, I will be focusing on the draft, the Patriot’s needs, and giving you a little background of players that I believe are Patriots-type players.
Now that the season is over, it’s time to look at the Patriots’ roster and specifically those players that are Free Agents.
When the team went up against the iron of the league, the Patriots’ weaknesses got exposed. Despite the playoff loss, this was a very good season considering where we came from.
Playing the same team three times in the same season is very difficult., which will be the challenge for the Patriots as they face the Bills this Saturday.
