With the Patriots set to resume their season at MetLife Stadium on Sunday against the Giants, they appeared to have most of their offense intact on Wednesday.
According to the Boston Herald’s Doug Kyed, the club was without practice squad receiver T.J. Luther as the team got back to work, with no notable names missing from the session at the receiver position.
The fact it was just Luther absent was good news for those hoping to see DeVante Parker return. Parker has missed the last two games with a concussion, with the veteran’s status being up in the air ahead of this week.
Parker was limited on the Wednesday and Thursday sessions ahead of the club’s trip to Germany but ultimately ended up sitting that one out. His last game was back in Week 8 when he caught one pass for 14 yards during New England’s disappointing 31-17 loss in Miami.
What that means for his status for this weekend remains to be seen, as the Patriots have yet to release their injury report for this week. However, it sounds like he was out there Wednesday, which is a positive sign.
Sunday’s game at MetLife is scheduled for a kickoff time of 1:00pm against a Giants team that is coming off a 31-19 win over the Commanders last weekend.
