It’s already been five years since the New England Patriots’ historic 25-point comeback over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, but stories from that memorable night continue to be told.

On Wednesday, former Patriot and current Las Vegas Raiders safety Duron Harmon joined NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” and shared his story from the locker room at halftime.

“I just remember riding the [workout] bike and all of sudden I’m like this is going to be the greatest comeback of all time, this is going to be the greatest comeback of all time and you can look around the locker room and people hearing me. People getting juiced up. People start smacking hands, getting loud, and before you know it, everyone’s in there like you know what we are going to do this.”

You can listen to Harmon’s full comments in the link below.

Harmon, a third-round draft pick by the Patriots out of Rutgers, spent his first seven seasons in New England and contributed to all three Super Bowl titles. Over his tenure, Harmon became known to fans as “the closer” for his clutch late-game interceptions.

In March 2020, Harmon was traded to the Detriot Lions where he played one season before signing with the Falcons in 2021.

Last Month, Harmon reunited with coach Josh McDaniels on the Las Vegas Raiders on a one-year contract.
