Ja’Whaun Bentley Re-Signs With Patriots, Reacts Over Social Media

On Monday, The New England Patriots announced that linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley has re-signed with the team.Â
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Bentley’s deal is reportedly for two years worth a maximum of $9 million.
In 2021 Bentley put together his most productive season in the NFL, starting 16 games while recording a career-high and team-high 108 total tackles alongside three forced fumbles, two pass deflections, and one sack.
Across his four-year career, Bentley has played in 48 regular-season games with 33 starts and has registered 251 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception, six passes defended, three forced fumbles, and seven special teams tackles.
Bentley later reacted to the news over Instagram.

In addition to the official re-signing of Bentley, the Patriots also brought back kicker Nick Folk on a two-year deal.
