David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports
The New England Patriots returned to their winning ways with a dominating blowout victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The win, their tenth of the season, alongside a loss by the Miami Dolphins, also ensured a playoff berth.
Notable moments from Sunday’s game saw running back Damien Harris score his 13th and 14th rushing touchdowns, cornerback J.C. Jackson becoming the first player in franchise history with two eight interception seasons, and head coach Bill Belichick tying Don Shula for first all-time in playoff appearances (19) and ten win seasons (20).
Additionally, quarterback Mac Jones became the 15th rookie to reach 3,000 passing yards and 20 touchdown passes. His 23 touchdown passes this season rank first in franchise history for a rookie, surpassing the previous mark set by Jim Plunkett in 1971.
Relieve all these moments and more with the sights and sounds from the Patriots sideline and inside the locker room reaction following the game with these two videos produced by the team below.
The Patriots will look to improve their playoff seeding when they travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins this Sunday at 4:25 pm EST for the season finale.
