Mac Jones may appear to be all business when he’s on the field, but when his team has an opportunity to score, that’s when he really gets fired up.

SB Nation Patriots writer Berndt Buchmasser pointed out on Twitter that on the double pass to Kendrick Bourne, Jones was already celebrating before the ball had even left Bourne’s hands prior to his touchdown pass to Nelson Agholor.

One other fan also noted that moment wasn’t an anomaly.  Jones also did the same thing on similar scoring opportunities, including a running play by Damien Harris.

It’s obviously good to see his confidence continuing to grow, as Jones increased his touchdown total for 2021 to 9 after throwing 2 against the Jets on Sunday.

Needless to say, if this trend is indeed true, Jones likely raised his arms quite a bit during the club’s blowout win, which improved them to 3-4 on the year and got them one step closer to getting back to .500.

Let’s hope there are plenty of these moments to come over the course of the remainder of this season.
