VIDEO: A Look Back At Dont’a Hightower’s Rookie Season

Since coming into the NFL as a first round draft pick out of Alabama, New England Patriots linebacker has become an anchor on the teams defense for eight of the past nine seasons.
Over that span, Hightower has logged 468 career tackles, 25.5 sacks, two Pro Bowl honors, an all-decade team selection, but most importantly, contributed to three Super Bowl championships.
In 2020, Hightower elected to sit out the season citing COVID-19 safety concerns around the birth of his child, but will be back on the field this fall.
A few days ago, the NFL Throwback Twitter account shared some highlights from Hightower’s rookie season in 2012, showing off some of what was to come in the years that followed.
