The New England Patriots came up a few yards short against the Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday in a classic.
The 35-30 defeat marked the Patriots first loss of the 2020 season but the effort against one of football’s elite teams put the rest of the NFL on notice moving forward.
“I thought that our team competed hard throughout the game”, head coach Bill Belichick said postgame.
“Cam, the entire offense, the coaching staff, the defense. They made plays against us. We made some plays against them. The game went back and forth. It was a multitude of battles within the game. They won some and we won some. I thought we competed right from the opening kick off to the final whistle.”
