(PHOTO: Greg M. Cooper - USA TODAY Sports) In a follow up to an earlier story from July, former New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon’s Super Bowl LIII ring was sold on Tuesday.
According to ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss, Gordon’s ring sold for $138,000 at a sports auction.

Despite missing the Patriots 2018 run to the Super Bowl where he chose to step away for his mental health, Robert Kraft gifted Gordon a ring for his contributions in the 11 regular season games he played.
Gordon’s most notable Patriots moment occurred against the Indianapolis Colts when he hauled in Tom Brady’s 500th career touchdown pass.
Following his reinstatement in 2019, Gordon split time between the Patriots, where he participated in six games before being waived and Seattle Seahawks for the next seven.
In December, Gordon was handed his sixth suspension from the NFL since 2013 due to violations of the league’s policies on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse, he is currently still awaiting reinstatement and remains a free agent.
