Over the weekend, the New England Patriots showed off their support for 50 years of Boston Pride and Pride month by lighting up Gillette Stadium in a modified rainbow color scheme.

According to Boston.com,”The Boston Pride Parade was launched in response to police harassment and brutality against gay patrons at the Stonewall Inn in New York. It has evolved into Boston’s largest parade, and it typically draws up to 1 million people.”
Saturday’s scheduled Boston Pride Parade was cancelled due to coronavirus concerns but the stadium lighting continues an offseason show of solidarity by the Kraft family towards different causes.
