Remember the Tom Brady social media photo that blew up the internet on Friday?
As it turns out, it was nothing more than a teaser advertisement for Brady’s Super Bowl commercial for Hulu…yes Hulu the online streaming service.
“They say all good things must come to an end, and that the best just know when to walk away,” Brady says in the ad. “So to my teammates, my family, and most of all, my fans, you deserve hear this from me: Hulu doesn’t just have live sports. According to the script they just gave me, Hulu also has your favorite cable channels plus the greatest shows, movies and originals of all time. So it’s time to say goodbye to TV as you know it.
“But me? I’m not going anywhere.”
Speaking with Westwood One at halftime during the Super Bowl, Brady was asked about the spot, and shared his daughters reaction.
“It was pretty fun,” Brady said “I’m glad everyone enjoyed it. My daughter loved it. When I walked in and saw her, she says to me, ‘Daddy, we’re not going anywhere!’ I thought it was so cute. She gave me a big hug.”
Unfortunately for Patriots fans, the commercial isn’t the official guarantee of a return to New England, but a few of his teammates had some funny/positive reactions after they viewed it.
