For the second consecutive season, former New England Patriots defensive end Richard Seymour has been named one of the 15 Modern-Era Player Finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

On the eve of Super Bowl LIV in Miami next month, the Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee with choose and announce five of the 15 finalists for the Hall of Fame Class of 2020.
During his eight seasons in New England, Seymour was a key contributor on the Patriots first three Super Bowl championship teams, and earned five consecutive Pro Bowl selections with the franchise.
Seymour was traded to the Oakland Raiders following the 2009 preseason where he would go on to earn two more Pro Bowl honors and finish his career.
In 2010, Seymour was named apart of the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 2000s and is a member of both the Patriots 50th Anniversary and All-2000s Teams.
