The New England Patriots suffered their second loss of 2019 this past Sunday, but quarterback Tom Brady remained positive and turned the page over social media following the game.

“A man is not finished when he is defeated. He is finished when he quits.” This team will never quit! #OnToKC”

Despite the struggles on offense this season, Brady was asked by Westwood One’s Jim Gray on Monday if this Patriots team still has what it takes to return to the Super Bowl.

“I don’t have a prediction. I think we have a plan. It’s about being committed to the plan,” Brady said. “The outcomes are what they are. You’re not going to control every outcome. What you can control is the practice, the process, the attitude, the confidence and you work on building trust with your teammates throughout the week. If you do those things, you have good results. I know we get so focused on results so often, I think you can take a lot from wins and losses. And I think you can take a lot from practices. I think focusing on the things that are in our control and the things we can do a better job of will go a long way towards changing results. But, if you’re always focused on results I think sometimes you get off track.”

The Patriots will look to get back on track against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs next Sunday.

Three of the Patriots four remaining regular season games will come from the comforts of home at Gillette Stadium.
