The five Super Bowl championship banners at Gillette Stadium will be adding a new member in September when the New England Patriots open the 2019 season against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Despite the game being five months away, preparation is already underway to accommodate the sixth banner.
The stadium Twitter account shared a photograph of construction to make room for the banner.
