With less than 24 hours until kickoff approaching, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took to his Instagram Saturday with a peaceful reminder of what still comes first in his life, family.
Brady shared a photo of his five-year old daughter Vivian on his shoulders and an accompanying “Happy Saturday” caption.
Ironically enough, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was five-years old when Brady first entered the NFL. A question at his Friday press conference referred to the age gap between both quarterbacks.
“I know, there’s too many – there’s a lot of those guys now and that’s just kind of the reality of being around for a long time. But you’re right, it’s great to see a lot of young players playing really well. That’s the future of the league so it’s always great to see young players come in and learn from the guys in the past just like I did when I was young. I had a lot of guys that I looked up to and I got to play against Brett Favre and some really other great players.”
In the meantime, the older Brady continues to balance both football and family, using both to help the other.
