Tom Brady Named AFC Offensive Player of the Month

On Thursday the New England Patriots formally announced via press release that quarterback Tom Brady has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for November.
It is the tenth time in Brady’s career that he has earned a Player of the Month award and adds to his NFL record total. Peyton Manning is second to Brady with eight monthly honors. The award marks Brady’s first since he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month in October 2016 after returning from suspension. Overall, this award marks Brady’s fourth in the 2017 NFL season, he was AFC Offensive Player of the Week on three occasions in weeks 2, 3 and 10. Brady also holds the NFL record for weekly awards at 30.
In the month of November, Brady led the Patriots to a perfect 3-0 record while completing 73 of-99 passes for 833 yards with 10 touchdowns. “In addition, he Brady had at least three touchdown passes in all three games, including a four-touchdown game in the win against Miami last Sunday. His completion percentage of 73.7 is the highest in the NFL for the month, and his 10 touchdowns are tied for the most. Overall, Brady owns a 46-14 November record in his career.”
