VIDEO: Georgia Dome Collapse Set To Super Bowl Winning Touchdown
usa today - USA TODAY Sports
On Monday, the Atlanta Falcons officially closed the book on their history at the Georgia Dome with a controlled demolition of the facility after 25 seasons of calling it home. In 2017, the franchise moved into “Mercedes-Benz Stadium”, a brand new state of the art facility.
But that isn’t the point of this blog.
A Patriots fan on reddit saw the collapsing stadium as a perfect excuse to bring back memories of Super Bowl LI when the Falcons themselves collapsed after leading 28-3.
So why not set the demolition video to background audio of Joe Buck’s call of James White’s game winning touchdown in overtime? Yes. Perfection.
