After Win, Newton Tells Off Reporter On the Way to the Locker Room

Apparently Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was a little bitter toward the media coming into Sunday’s game against the Patriots and following the win, he had choice words as he headed back to the locker room.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini captured video of Newton as he was coming off the field after their dramatic 33-30 win over New England, where he told Russini, “Don’t ask me for no interviews now, I don’t want to do it.”
“You didn’t want to do it before the game, I don’t want to do it.”

Newton’s frustration reportedly stemmed from the criticism he received coming into the game about his ability to play at a high level. After beating the defending champs, Newton apparently now has his swagger back.
He missed just seven passes all afternoon, connecting on 22-of-29 for 316 yards and three touchdowns during Carolina’s win over the Patriots, improving them to 3-1, tying them with the Falcons in the NFC South.
