If you needed something to irritate you to kick off your week, the US Appeals Court decided to do just that on Monday and the news is sure to infuriate everyone out there who already is tired of this whole mess.

Mike Reiss of ESPN reported on Monday that the U.S. Appeals court came back with a 2-1 decision and ruled in favor of the NFL, restoring Brady’s four-game suspension to start 2016.

After having his decision overturned for 2015, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell quietly decided rather than try and take an educated look with psi measurements last season, he instead picked up where they left off in court after 2015 ended and both sides presented their case to the appellate court in March, with both arguments being heard again before this latest decision.  Those who were on hand to witness how it played out felt that Brady’s side might be in trouble, and it appears they were right.

The courts said in their decision that Goodell was within his rights to punish Brady.

Now we’ll have to wait and see what recourse Brady’s side will try next.  But either way, it’s a frustrating outcome given how this entire farce has played out.  And considering the team is already heading into this weekend without a first round pick, today’s news just makes the whole thing that much more irritating.
