On Sunday Tom Brady got into a confrontation with the Jets Quinton Coples during the first half of their battle with New York on Sunday.

Brady dismissed the confrontation after the game, but the vein-popping, teeth gritting, Brady revealed in the photo reveals that there was definitely a little more of a heated exchange than the veteran QB let on after it was over.

Here’s the photo, captured by Mark L. Baer of USA TODAY Sports:

Brady downplayed it after the game.

“It was just, I think, the emotion of the game,” Brady told reporters when asked about it after the game. “You know, it’s a great rivalry we have with that team, those players, we see them a lot and I was pretty emotional, like I am most of the time. So, it was not a big deal.”
