Speaking with Mark Bertrand and the 985 The Sports Hub pregame show before Sundays matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Patriots team President Jonathan Kraft offered up a little sarcastic sympathy for the struggling and now 0-3 Baltimore Ravens.

Going into week three of the season, there were nine teams that came into the weekend with an 0-2 record but Kraft jumped at the chance to single out one of them.

He told Bertrand on air, “”It’s too bad about Baltimore, isn’t it? It’s really too bad.”

Then when asked if he felt karma was playing a role in the early failures of one of the franchises that created the deflategate saga Kraft responded, “Oh, that has nothing to do with it. The Ravens are sweethearts. John Harbaugh, he’s a sweetheart.”

The Ravens would go on to lose Sunday in heartbreaking fashion to Andy Dalton and the Bengals at home 28-24.

Unfortunately for Kraft and the Patriots, Baltimore is not on the schedule this season pending the Ravens overcome their bad start and meet in the playoffs for a fifth time since 2009. Both teams have split those matchups at two a piece, with the Patriots winning the most recent game 34-31 in the 2014 Divisional Round.

The Ravens are winless since the 2014 Wild Card game.
