NFL Week 2 TV Schedule: Harlan, Gannon to announce Patriots

The New England Patriots travel to Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York to take on the Buffalo Bills at 1:00 pm eastern time on Sunday, September 20. This marks the 111^th meeting between these two original AFL teams, with the Pats holding a decisive edge in the rivalry. The Patriots own a 67-42-1 all-time record against the Bills, and have won 26 of the last 29 contests.

The game will be broadcast on CBS, with Kevin Harlan announcing the play-by-play and Rich Gannon handling the analysis. Considering that FOX has the doubleheader this week and this is an early game, the event is receiving reasonable distribution nationwide over the CBS network. As of now the game is scheduled to be broadcast in 45 television markets, though that could of course change between now and Sunday.

The NFL week kicks off on Thursday with what should be an intriguing matchup, as Denver travels to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. The game kicks off at 8:25 ET and will be broadcast on both CBS and the NFL Network; Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will call the game.

The remainder of the Sunday afternoon games will be distributed almost exclusively to the geographic regions of the two particular teams. The lone exception is Dallas at Philadelphia, which is the only late game on FOX. The only places that game will not air is in Jacksonville and Oakland, because per NFL rules there cannot be another game broadcast locally in competition with the home team playing live.
