FOXBORO, MA — The Patriots have added another tight end to their roster after reaching an agreement with former Seattle Seahawk, Christian Fauria.

ESPN.com is reporting that New England has agreed to a contract with the free-agent tight end, and he will sign a three-year deal reportedly worth $3.8 million, including an $800,000 signing bonus.

Fauria is 6’4″, 245-pounds, and has been a consistent contributor the last five seasons, appearing in all but one game during that span. Last season he played in 16 games with 11-starts, catching 21-balls for 188-yards and a touchdown.

For his career, he’s appeared in 103-games starting 73 of them, with 166-receptions for 1683 yards and 7-touchdowns.
