Glenn Getting Closer, WR Signed
FOXBORO, MA — It appears that wide receiver Terry Glenn may finally be getting closer to returning to the football field.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick announced on Thursday that wide receiver Terry Glenn had his best day Wednesday after returning to the practice field. Glenn, who has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, did some running and apparently may be ready for Sunday’s game against Buffalo.
“I think Terry had his best day yesterday since the injury before the Indianapolis game,” said Belichick. “We’ll see what he can do today. He didn’t do much in practice but he had his best day in terms of running and working out with the medical people.”
“He’s a lot closer than he’s been, we’ll see where that puts us today in terms of practice time.”
Belichick also announced that New England signed former Bears wide receiver Fred Coleman. Belichick said that Coleman has good size and good speed and also has experience in the kicking game. Coleman is 25-years old and is 6’4″ 190lbs.
