"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith," wrote Slater. Slater also closed out his statement the same way he closed out his postgame speeches, saying, "How do I feel about being a Patriot for life?"..."AWW YEAH!!!"

The Patriots announced their coaching staff, with Bob Bicknell listed as the team's tight ends coach. Bicknell served two seasons as a senior offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints and becomes a key addition to New England's offensive staff.

Ferentz has been in New England since 2018, and currently resides in Norfolk Massachusetts where he says, "my family luckily has called home for the past seven years."

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Trent Brown's contract will void without an extension, which will set him up to be a free agent on March 13th. Following the news, Fowler adds that the club will carry a dead cap number of $2 million into 2024.
