Despite their best efforts, it looks like Jacksonville free agent receiver Calvin Ridley is heading to Tennessee, with Ian Rapoport reporting that Ridley has agreed to a four-year, $92 million with the Titans, including $50 million guaranteed.

Jeff Howe of the Athletic reports that the Jaguars and Patriots are the two favorites for Ridley, but other teams have 'stayed involved.' Howe notes that Ridley has yet to make a decision, with the Patriots not yet ruled out among those involved.

"The Patriots have made a substantial offer to Calvin Ridley," said Bedard. "It's a lot better than the Jaguars. But Ridley, for personal reasons, really does not want to leave Jacksonville and is hoping that they up their offer." Bedard notes that the reason is 'indeed personal' and doesn't contain any ulterior reason.

Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports that the Patriots currently have an offer into Calvin Ridley's camp, and are "still waiting to hear back." New England is said to be among the final two teams in contention for Ridley, although an earlier report said he's pondering staying in Jacksonville.

Alex Barth of 98.5 The Sports Hub pointed out on Tuesday that the Jaguars are in an interesting situation when it comes to Calvin Ridley. Barth added that "If the Jaguars sign him to an *extension* they owe the Falcons a 2nd round pick as part of that trade agreement. If they wait for the new league year and sign him as a "free agent" that pick becomes a 3rd." As a result, it will be interesting to follow the timeline on this as the negotiations ultimately play out.
