Tek is hitting like .230 isn't he?

Trade Saito before his should implodes. He's a mop up guy on this team, and while pitching depth is important, the Sox have enough arms, but not enough depth. When Jeff Bailey is your replacement bat, you probably could use some depth. Who's got pop on the bench for the corner spots? If Saito weren't a health concern, then it might be different. I just worry about him lasting a full season. He never had the should repaired, and opted for therapy IIRC.

plus, they couild bring up Bowden to fill Saito's spot in the pen.

i would love to pry Young from the Rangers...that guy has always been a very good player. I wonder what it would take?

I heard Peter Gammons saying that the Sox were in love with Adrian Gonazalez from the Padres. Could you imagine trading for him and moving youk to 3rd. Holy SH!T

I'd love to have him but they'd have to give up a boatload for him.

Couple things.

AGON isn't going to be traded. He's making very short money for the next few years and SD needs him badly.

I do not want Young. He has quite a few things going against him.

He is due 12mill a year until 2014.

He's going to be 33 at the end of this season.

He's currently having a worse year defensively at third than Lowell is. I know Young isn't that great of a defender but how the hell that is possible considering Lowell's hip right now.

Victor Martinez is a terrible catcher. Hes a 1b/DH who gets to "catch" 2 days a week.
