Cut Wise?IIRC he is already on IR.
Someone else would need to go to IR, traded or cut.
he's day to day why would they put him on IR?
I agree, if Wynn is in fact day to day.
Rapoport's tweet said "considered week to week, I'M TOLD" and every news source has run with this as fact.
Ian has reputation for being a little quick and loose with his reporting. Some call him a liar, which I disagree. But adding "I'm told" seems a little fishy to me as to the closeness of the source.
Why add "I'm told" as a condition? Turf toe can be a lingering issue. Maybe it's the case, but I haven't seen anyone else verify Ian's tweet.
He's not a doctor. "I'm told" is appropriate.
Who is "he"? Ian or the source???
It's appropriate reporting for someone whose source isn't close enough that the reporter doesn't want to leave it definitive.
You're missing that Tampa Bay is a bad organization, and bad organizations often misevaluate or poorly coach up their talent (part of why they're bad). Like when the Jets cut Danny Woodhead and kept Joe McKnight. Or Cleveland sending away Jason McCourty and Danny Shelton from their 0-16 team and they're integral parts of our team now (granted it took a while for Shelton to take hold).Benenoch - 25 year-0ld, 2016 5th round pick by Buccaneers, started 16 games in 2018 at RG, released Sept. 2019.
Is Tampa Bay's offensive line that good with adequate depth that they can justify waiving last year's starting right guard ?
What am I missing?
Aren't we?
As of now, three off the street players will be active this week: Cunningham, Newhouse and Benanock.
Ian, and it would be appropriate regardless of who the source was, up to and including the doctor or player.
If it were a doctor Ian would not have said I'm told. He just would have reported it.
Another player is likely more accurate and thus my comment.
That's bad for sure, but not nearly Earthwind Moreland-level dire. Those three -- including a 2nd-year player they deemed worth trading for -- are standard JAG journeymen with NFL starting experience. Moreland had been trying to find a place on an NFL roster for 5 years without ever registering stats of any kind.
Seems very athletic, smart and well spoken. I can understand why he'd want to be coached by Scar after spending his first 3 years with TB. Compared to Cunningham and Newhouse, ,I'm better (on first impression) he'll end up being the best of the bunch.Perhaps Dante has found an OG who can backup at center. Benenoch says that he has played some center. TB used him as their starting RT. We'll see.
