I'll just throw this out here, and I can elaborate more on it later if you want.
Deflate-gate was bound to happen. It just wasn't bound to happen last month. If Brady had gone through that game INT-free, Grigson would have had no way to alert the refs that there's a "problem" w/o tipping off that "Hey, I know stuff." If Brady had thrown a second-half INT, Grigson would have alerted the refs at the end of the game. If Brady didn't throw an INT, it would have magically become a problem the next time he threw a pick against the Colts (or, perhaps, the Ravens as well, if they were in on it).
