As others have said, there are ways to fit a Brady contract and other contracts in based on how the deals are structured. Very possible DMac’s cap charge for 2020 will be low once the full details are known.

Yes. Wasn’t his 2019 season one of his best ? I don’t really understand the “it’s a lot of money” faction on here... I don’t think a player of that caliber and of that leadership - even at 32 - can be had for any less. Salaries are skyrocketing. I like the move. And two years is hardly an anchor. If things go South quickly, he won’t be on the books very long.

This is going to be a fascinating offseason. Unlike any we have seen since 2001/2002. Other than the fact that he wants his secondary intact I don’t have the slightest idea what Belichick is up to. Motherf*cker has balls of steel.

Happy he’s back. He should retire a Patriot (him and Slater will retire as Pats). Hopefully there is some wiggle room as far as the cap hit. 11.5 a year is a lot of money.
