It means that he probably will be rested on Thursday, and could be ready to go as early as the Jets game.

It was a joke because of the Wynn injury.

Good on Dorsett that said getting another WR before the Deadline would make me sleep better. Edelman needs a little more help he ain't going to last taking all those shots minus Gronk.

It made sense to stash Wynn, a turf toe victim, on IR, if the thought was that they could weather the storm, because they had return slots available. That is no longer the case.

He has 3 weeks till Cleveland, thats probably the earliest they’d really need him.

If you're just week-to-week with a hamstring, it's minor, and you're making sure it doesn't get worse by playing on it.

Wasn't the case with Develin either. We do not know severity of Dorsett's injury. Probably nothing to worry about, but gotta take this with a grain of salt obviously. Highlights how thin we are at WR. Sanders anyone?

Develin went from back to kneck/back. We're not likely to see hamstring go to hamstring/hip joint.

His injury didn’t change. Just the information about the injury, which is the point. Probably see him soon, but don’t bet the mortgage on it.
