Is there a way to securely transfer tix from your account on ticketmaster or something, in a way that the receiver would know it’s a verified ticket? This is how I do my deals for Celtics tix.
The season ticket holders I usually buy from do hard tix. They are unable to sell me one of the games I’m looking for (Cleveland), so I’m dealing with a new craigslist guy. He offered to do hard ticket exchange, or “transfer tickets via my Patriots account”

It seems to me the safest transaction would be to meet up in person and give him cash, while he sends me the tickets from his patriots account. Is this correct, or do you think hard tix would be safer? I’d think there’s no way to scam the transfer if it’s truly from his account, while you could (hypothetically) do so for hard tickets.

Thanks!

Mobile ticket transfer is the safest way IMO. If he's a STH once he transfers them he can no longer see the barcode on his mobile account and the hard tickets should be void IIRC

Great, thanks. I may have heard once that they can still “cancel” the tickets..? Do you know anything about that?

I personally don't but once they transfer them over..i don't see how they could but I could be wrong

To be 100% accurate - a ticket holder can initiate a transfer, and then cancel that transfer up until the recipient accepts the tickets. Patriots send you can email asking you to accept, once you do the sender can't do anything, and the page looks like this:

Super helpful, thank you. Maybe you’ve only done this from the sell side, but do you happen to know what the email you receive looks like?
