I saw a list on NESN.com, but it was really bad and somehow omitted some late heroics in major games in favor of big first quarter defecits. I can't remember all of Brady's comebacks in my head and wanted to start a thread where people can add to it.

These can be from regular season or postseason. We all remember the huge comebacks and the immortalized postseason ones, so here are some of the more forgotten ones that come to mind since they weren't in the postseason and weren't really hyped games:

-Bills, 20o9. Brady's first game back from knee surgery in 2009 with two TD passes in final two minutes to Ben Watson. All the Bills needed to do was kneel on the ball, but McKelvin fumbled the kickoff return. Final: 25-24.

- Browns, 2014. Patriots trailed 19-3 in second half and 26-14 with about two minutes. Took an onside kick to win this one. This was the game where TJ Ward took out Gronk's knee. Final: 27-26.

-Saints, 2013. Patriots seemed to be eliminated like 4 times after being stopped late in the game but somehow got one last chance and Brady found Kenbrell Thompkins for 17 yard TD, insanely perfect pass. This was with a complete bunch of scrub skill players. Final: 30-27.

-Cowboys, 2011. On 3rd and goal from the 8 with 30 seconds remaining, Brady hit Aaron Hernandez on a ridiculous throw to beat that Cowboys. Final: 20-16.

-49ers, 2012. Even though they lost the game, the Patriots overcame a 31-3 deficit to tie the game at 31. This was against an amazing, star-studded Niners defense that went to the Super Bowl that year....still a completely epic comeback which no other QB in NFL history could have pulled off, though they lost 41-34.

-Bills, 20o9. Brady's first game back from knee surgery in 2009 with two TD passes in final two minutes to Ben Watson. All the Bills needed to do was kneel on the ball, but McKelvin fumbled the kickoff return. Final: 25-24.

McKelvin's fumble will go down in history as a boneheaded play, BUT if my recollection is accurate it was almost a GREAT play.

I believe the Bills fielded the kickoff with JUST over 2 minutes to go and protecting a lead (think like 2:04 or 2:06). With McKelvin's return he successfully ran off enough clock to take it to the 2 minute warning. That would have been a GREAT clock management move as it would have essentially cost the Pats a precious clock stoppage. Of course, he fumbled the ball so he looked like a moron instead of a hero.

Broncos 2013 when we were down 24-0 at halftime. This is the one where Welker famously dropped the ball (the OTHER time he did it).

It was actually that game that made me not give up hope in the Super Bowl, pretty similar circumstances.

#1 2016 season - Falcons in SB down 25 in the mid 3rd.

#2 2014 season - Seahawks in SB down 10 with 10 just 9 minutes left.

#3 2001 season - Oakland in playoffs down 10 in a blizzard in the 4th

#4 2002 season - Bears down 21 points in the third.

#5 2013 season - Browns down 12 with 2:30 left in the game

#6 2013 season - Broncos down 24 to open the 2nd half.

#7 2009 season - Bills down 11 with 5:30 to play.

#8 2001 season - Chargers down 10 with 9 minutes to play

#9 2002 season - Dolphins down 11 with 5 minutes left to play

#10 2014 season - Ravens in playoffs down 14 in the second half

HMs:2011 Dolphins down 17 to open the half, 2013 Saints down 4 with 1 minutes left no time outs. SF almost comeback 2012.

Hard to say when you have to balance deficits, time constraints and stage.

For me it was the Ravens game during the 2014 playoff run. That was what I had in the back of my mind.

"If anybody can pull this off it's Brady". Then he did and I still can't believe it.

Yep. Even during the game Suggs himself said it's not over with "that 12 dude out there" or something. Suggs is no Brady fan but he called that one right.

Speaking of comebacks just for the lolz I was checking out the Orange Mane game thread for the Super Bowl... the saltiness in there was so thick I could taste it. LOL

In the first half they were talking about coming here to troll this board... I wonder why that didn't happen. :D

You aren't giving the Ravens game enough credit. They over came 2 14 point Deficits. As symbolic as Raider snow game is this is a better comeback story. Imo

Good point. Most chance-to-win-game-down-this-many-points-with-this-much-time-left-to-play metrics only account for a single nadir. The least likely point. But the probability to comeback 2x 14pts in single game is much, much less likely than overcoming a single 14pt deficit. Especially since the game is half over the 2nd time you do it.

The year 2000 called... and said, "Rewatch the Orange Bowl against Alabama."
